主要从事生物传感、光电材料、环境监测等交叉领域中功能性荧光染料的开发和应用研究。迄今为止,已在Chem. Rev.、Adv. Mater.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Mater. Horiz.、Chem. Sci.、Matter、Small、Chem. Mater.、ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces等杂志上发表SCI论文52篇(一作/通讯作者论文24篇),论文总引9000余次,4篇文章多次入选ESI高被引(单篇引用超过200次)和热点论文,H指数30。撰写中文专著3个章节、英文专著1个章节。已获授权中国发明专利4项,已公开美国专利1项。已主持包括国基金面上项目等在内的项目7项。
