1983年毕业于华东化工学院化学工程系,获学士学位。1988年在华东化工学院精细化工系就读硕士研究生,1990年在同学科就读博士研究生,1993年获博士学位,同年留校工作。1996年曾短期赴日本食品综合技术研究所从事植物蛋白结构分析和模拟生物膜研究,1997年受日本科技厅邀请,赴日本电子综合技术研究所担任科技厅特别研究员,从事具有纳米材料的有机超薄膜结构和性能的研究。2000年受美国健康研究院(NIH)资助,赴比利时鲁汶大学医学院从事EPR氧生物传感器的研究。2001.5回国,在华东理工大学工作至今。

多年来致力于功能纳米材料的制备及应用研究,包括在生物传感器和生物分子分离分析方法等领域,以及天然产物活性成分研究。强调多学科交叉,开展基础创新及应用研究。至今承担国家自然科学基金项目、科技部国际合作专项项目以及省部级项目三十余项。已发表SCI收录论文二百余篇,申请专利35项,主编出版译著1部,英文专著2个章节。学术任职主要有:国家实验室认可委员会化学委员会委员;教育部实验教学指导委员会委员;教育部高校分析测试中心研究会理事会荣誉理事;曾任全国和上海市高教学会实验室管理研究专业委员会副秘书长、常任理事、副理事长;中国和上海分析测试协会理事。
