On March 30th, Prof. Jyh-Chiang Jiang (from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology) visited our school and gave a lecture titled “Computationally Driven Design of New Materials for Applications”. Prof. Hu hosted the lecture and Prof. Guo Yanglong, Prof. Liu baiping, Prof. Xu Jing also attended the lecture.
In the lecture, Prof. Jiang focused on the theoretical study of adsorption and reaction of methane on IrO2 (110). Meanwhile, Prof. Jiang also introduced the latest progress of his group about dynamics simulation TPD, hydrogen storage materials and optical materials, which had aroused extensive attention of participants. After the lecture, Prof. Jiang discussed with participants and exchanged opinions.
