Nov. 12th, invited by Prof. Long Yitao of School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Professor Yu Huazhong from Canada, Simon Fraser University (SFU) visited our university. Prof. Yu made a wonderful academic report for our teachers and students in room 102 at Research Building III, which is titled "Designed DNA Nano-Switches for Molecular Sensing ". In the lecture, Prof. Yu vividly presented the design of the molecular structure of DNA probes, and made it act as a switch in the process of electron transportation. Meanwhile, Prof. Yu introduced the SFU and local specialties for students. After the lecture, Prof. Yu had an ardent discussion with the teachers and students.
