The Institute of Industrial Catalysis(IIC) authorized in “Industrial Catalysis” mater and Phd education, was established in April 1985. As a division of “Nanotechnology and Applications” National Engineering Research Center and “Structure Controllable Advanced Functional Materials and Preparation” MOE Key Laboratory, IIC was equipped with fine instruments and latest techniques, engaged in several National and Provincial Key Research Projects. Now Prof. Guo yanglong heads the Institute of Industrial Catalysis.
Faculty Members:
Institute of Industrial Catalysis has 14 faculty members, including 7 professors, 3 associate professors, 2 senior engineers, 1 instructor, together with 29 Phd students, 72 master students and 3 post-doctors. Among them, 1 chair scientist of National 973 Program, 11 selected for Provincial Training program. IIC has good working relationships with The Queen’s University of Belfast, Princeton University, McGill University, French National Scientific Research Center (Institute of Catalysis), Max Planck Institute (Institute of Carbon, Institute of Colloid and Interface Chemistry) and The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
