Dr. Yi-Lun Ying honored as an international rising talent, March 24, 2016

    Dr. Yi-Lun Ying will be internationally honored at the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards, held in Paris on March 24, 2016, as the Asia-Pacific representative from the best National and Regional fellows. Every year, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program supports 15 promising young women researchers throughout their careers.

    Dr. Yi-Lun Ying is being recognized for the research she carried out on Nanopore Technology. Dr. Yi-Lun Ying graduated from the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in 2009, and received her PhD in Analytical Chemistry from ECUST under the supervision of Prof. Yi-Tao Long. During the PhD study, she exchanged as a PhD student in the University of Birmingham. Currently, she worked as a postdoctor fellow in ECUST since 2014. Her main research interests are nanopore-based single-molecule studies to elucidate interactions between biomolecules and in situ nanospectroelectrochemistry.
